 |  As a current student pursuing a degree in Public Relations with a minor in English, I have had extensive experience in the area of research and writing. The ability to research meticulously and promptly has always allowed me to write a precise and detailed paper easily. I became interested in writing during my English Fiction class when we had to read and analyze stories written by a variety of authors. The diversity of the assignments opened my eyes to other techniques for writing. I am confident in my writing abilities and feel that accurate research allocates me to be able to write on a broad area of topics. I have knowledge in the area of Dental work and a certificate of completion for dental assisting.

 As a 2009 graduate of the University at Albany’s Master’s in Secondary Education Adolescent English Program, I have had a valuable full year of student teaching experience in a challenging urban and low SES school district. I am certified to teach English Language Arts in New York State. I currently substitute and carry out home instruction for three school districts on Long Island, as I am waiting for a permanent teaching position. In the fall of 2009 I also was a coach for Albany High’s Girls’ Varsity Soccer team and lead the girls to win the Big Ten League Championship for the very first time in school history. Writing is something that has always come naturally to me, regardless of whether I am writing a formal paper or writing for pleasure. I am confident in my abilities to apply my writing skills to any topic and subject area.

 |  Having graduated from Dowling college with a degree in English and Creative Writing, I have extensive writing experience ranging from theatrical productions, to award-winning screenwriting credits. I'm constantly writing, be it for Writing Wizardz, other work-related venues, or for myself, so I try to hone my abilities a bit more each day. I am currently a substitute teacher at a private school on Long Island, where recently I found my passion is not only for writing, but working with teens, something I never expected.
